Couldn't recommend more! My partner and I did the introduction to free diving half day course with Andrea at divers code, and it was the best thing we did in Malta! My partner is nervous in the sea and Andrea and the other man (I can't remember his name!) made such an effort to prepare him and make him feel safe. The briefing bit of the course was interesting and gave us new and valuable knowledge, and the practical was fun and a good level of challenge. We also booked really last minute but they were able to slot us in, and it was just the two of us with our instructor.
We plan to go back to Malta to do another course with them in the future.

Loved the snorkeling safari and Skin diving sessions!!Staffs are very experienced and friendly!!Snorkeling sites they brought were amazing!!Free from bunch of tourists so we could fully enjoy!Thank you!!

Just perfecto!!! Having not so pleasant memory about scuba diving i had 2 years ago in Indian ocean (i was in panic and felt uncomfortable), I approach with extreme caution even to snorkeling. But Andrea somehow changed it!!! Every moment i felt uncomfortable (quite strong waves were during 2 days in Popeye village and Blue Grotto), Andrea eyes were on me and it made me absolutely relaxed and helped to enjoy a lot!
I highly recommend Andrea as a professional and careful instructor!!!
I will always look back on my time there with extremely fond memories!

We did the first course in Free diving and it was great. The experience was fantastic, the Instructors, Andrea and Marco were absolutely super. We would highly recommend Diverscode to anyone who would like to do Freediving, they were both Professional, patient and very understanding. Thanks Guys!

Fantastic free diving / snorkeling In Malta you can be spoilt for choice with 3 main diving options.
1. There are boats traveling all over advertising snorkelling, but if you want to snorkel these trips are not good, no advice or help. The locations are generally unsuitable for snorkelling.
2. There are plenty of dive centres but these are built around scuba not free diving or snorkelling.
But there is however one place (divers code) which caters for only of snorkelling / free diving. Also thrown in depending what you want / book is a trip to local sites of interest. The guy that took me out, Marcus was very good. he is an experienced free diver / scuba diver. I could not recommend it enough. I had a great time. He caters for learners and experienced free divers. You will be taken to the best locations and if the tide / wind is not right he will simply take you somewhere else that is right.
Marcus also filmed myself and the others free diving efforts which he then gave us all a copy of.
Wish I was in Malta longer because a 3 day free diving course was available, which next time I will be doing.
Prices are good, more than a boat trip (200+ ppl) but you get what you pay for. Marcus only takes 4-5 ppl max.

Best Freediving training and snorkelling around Easy outgoing instructors and great service. Excellent couple of days spend in sea would do it again. Would highly recommend to all.

Esperienza assolutamente da fare! Abbiamo contattato Andrea il giorno prima per chiedere informazioni e il giorno dopo alla mattina è venuto a prenderci all'hotel per condurci in due località dove fare snorkeling e apnea. Consigliatissimo per chi ama il mare e vuole scoprire i fondali senza l'ausilio delle bombole.

PADI Freediver I dreamed of getting a freediver certificate.
During the rest in Malta, I decided that it was time to realize my dream.
I really liked the approach of instructor to learning.
All issues were discussed.
If I did not understand something, then Andrea stopped and we discussed this topic until I fully understand.
The same applies to practical lessons.
Despite my superficial knowledge of English (I write this review with the help of google translate), Andrea was able to explain absolutely everything to me and I passed the theoretical test to 100% and also reached 16 fantastic meters of depth.
I recommend this place to everyone.

Great host, very professional and gave us a great insight into the aqua life in Malta. Andrea has been diving and lived all over the world and really understands what to look for and the best spots on the island for snorkelling where you can see a good array of sea life.
Also a great experience for beginners and pros alike - he is happy to help those who may not have any experience snorkelling, yet can provide advice to those who may want more of a challenge.
