Become a Basic Freediver PADI and learn how to freedive in Malta, these freediving lessons are a great first step for developing solid freediving skills.

The Basic Freediver PADI course is a sub-set of the Freediver PADI course you learn foundamental freediving principles and focus on practising breath hold techniques in a pool or confined water site.

To enrol this course  you need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. Minimum age is 12 years old.

No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving or freediving is required.
Are you younger than 12? 8-year-olds and older can enroll in the PADI Skin Diver course.

Your First Step into Freediving

In this freediving course You will learn:

• Breathing techniques.
• Relaxation
• Respiratory Physiology
• Free-diving Disciplines and Skills
• Pressure and Equalization
• Safety & Emergency procedures
• Equipment selection and maintenance

Included:

• Hotel pick up and drop off (Malta North)
• Professional PADI Instructor (English, Italian, Spanish)

• Full Freediving Equipment (full-body wetsuit, mask, snorkel and fins)

Once you have completed the course and reached the objectives, you will receive a PADI Freediver certification recognised worldwide by all the freediving agencies.
