Become a Freediver in Two Days

Learn how to freedive in just 2 days! Join this Freediving Course in Malta, get certified as Freediver PADI and start your underwater adventure.

This freediving course is suitable for beginners as well as intermediate and advanced freedivers with no prior certification.

The training is structured to build a solid foundation of knowledge, safety procedure, in-water skills and efficiency. It includes also the Basic Freediver Padi Course

During this free diving course you Instructor will guide you through the basic techniques for practising this sport in a fun and safe way.

The freediving training is divided in one theory session, one confined water and two open water sessions.

Full set of equipment is included during the freediving training.

The minimum age for the PADI Freediver certification is 15 years.

Practice and Learn the Foundamentals of Freediving

You will learn:

• Breathing & Relaxation
• Respiratory Physiology
• Static and Dynamic Apnea
• Buddying and safety
• Pressure and Ear’s Equalization
• Free Immersion diving
• Constant Weight diving
• Safety & Emergency procedures
• Equipment selection and maintenance

Included:

• Hotel pick up and drop off (Malta North)
• Professional PADI Instructor (English, Italian, Spanish)
• Manual and Certification
• First AID & Safety equipment
• Full Freediving Equipment (full-body wetsuit, mask, snorkel and fins)

Once you have completed the course and reached the objectives, you will receive a PADI Freediver certification recognised worldwide by all the freediving agency.

My partner is nervous in the sea and Andrea and the other man (I can't remember his name!) made such an effort to prepare him and make him feel safe. The briefing bit of the course was interesting and gave us new and valuable knowledge, and the practical was fun and a good level of challenge. We also booked really last minute but they were able to slot us in, and it was just the two of us with our instructor.
    We plan to go back to Malta to do another course with them in the future.

But Andrea somehow changed it!!! Every moment i felt uncomfortable (quite strong waves were during 2 days in Popeye village and Blue Grotto), Andrea eyes were on me and it made me absolutely relaxed and helped to enjoy a lot!
    I highly recommend Andrea as a professional and careful instructor!!!

The waters around Malta had been choppy for days but Andrea and Giovanni know every little protected bay around the island. They brought us to flat calm water that was scenic and memorable. Giovanni’s knowledge of Malta as well as its history is second to none, as he provided meaningful insight as he shuttled us from site to site. We were definitely off the beaten tourist path as we moved through the countryside exploring some Malta’s best kept secrets, which included a wonderful local restaurant with amazing food.     During the rest in Malta, I decided that it was time to realize my dream.
    I really liked the approach of instructor to learning.
    All issues were discussed.
    If I did not understand something, then Andrea stopped and we discussed this topic until I fully understand.
    The same applies to practical lessons.
    Despite my superficial knowledge of English (I write this review with the help of google translate), Andrea was able to explain absolutely everything to me and I passed the theoretical test to 100% and also reached 16 fantastic meters of depth.

Ho fatto con Divers Code alcuni dei miei tuffi più belli e profondi, con grande confort e assistenza perfetta.     1. There are boats traveling all over advertising snorkelling, but if you want to snorkel these trips are not good, no advice or help. The locations are generally unsuitable for snorkelling.
    2. There are plenty of dive centres but these are built around scuba not free diving or snorkelling.
    But there is however one place (divers code) which caters for only of snorkelling / free diving. Also thrown in depending what you want / book is a trip to local sites of interest. The guy that took me out, Marcus was very good. he is an experienced free diver / scuba diver. I could not recommend it enough. I had a great time. He caters for learners and experienced free divers. You will be taken to the best locations and if the tide / wind is not right he will simply take you somewhere else that is right.
    Marcus also filmed myself and the others free diving efforts which he then gave us all a copy of.
    Wish I was in Malta longer because a 3 day free diving course was available, which next time I will be doing.
    Prices are good, more than a boat trip (200+ ppl) but you get what you pay for. Marcus only takes 4-5 ppl max.     ..read less
