This is an easy walk! You do not need technical equipment or special training to participate, and it is a great activity that also families with kids will enjoy.
Meet us at our centre in Bugibba and get ready for a fun, panoramic and educational adventure.
You will walk through rocky trails and lesser roads to discover Phoenicians and Romans remains, lesser known St John Knight strongholds and World War II ruins: it’s like a journey into time with sea views.
During the excursion, you will get a lot of information about Malta and Mediterranean history and culture. There will be time for talking and getting photos (so don’t forget your cameras).

SEASONALITY
The best time for hiking in Malta is between October and April when the temperatures are fresher and the island is green.
The summer heat in Malta can be really strong and we do not recommend hiking.
During these months we are able to organize short tours in the early morning only for groups.

Good hike with a well educuated guide who obviously know the area very well. The hike contains a lot of history for the one who likes that. For me it was perfect with a hike in a historical context, if you are like that then you should not miss this. Very good price for the joy you get out of this 🙂

Pepo is such a nice and professional host that he not only took care of me so well throughout the hiking but also knew so much about the roads and heritage spots. The overall experience was great that it felt really short when it was about 3 hours hiking. Pepo is very flexible with leading the hike so I would recommend to pretty much anyone who's suitable with walking up and down the hills for few hours. I just wish no one misses this great experience while at Malta!

A fantastic morning hike in the magic nature of Malta. A couple of hours walking, while Pepo told us interesting things about Malta. Very peaceful and beautiful area and we got time for taking photos and asking questions. A big bonus was the transport by car so we didn't need to use the bus today!

This was a beautiful hike through the island of Malta. We started by the coast and saw a gorgeous sunrise. The salt mines were particularly incredible.
Pepo was also really flexible. We had a scheduling problem and he came to pick us up at 5am. Some A+ service.

Honestly, I can’t recommend this experience enough. First, the trail is absolutely stunning. You get to experience the Malta terrain in an intimate way you wouldn’t be able to otherwise. The hike isn’t difficult but works up an appetite, and the views are breathtaking. Pepo is - in one word - fantastic. He’s knowledgeable, fun, and comfortable - just a genuine person to speak with. He’s full of interesting stories and has a great sense of humor. Loved it! A must go!!

Excellent hike along beautiful coastlines. Pepo’s an experienced ultra trail runner and cares about safety. Having rained the previous day he lent me trekking poles for better stability in mud. He explained about the history of the places that we walked through. He was always making sure that I was within eyes view of him. Thoroughly enjoyed the trek despite the rain and hail. A perfect end to a memorable Maltese holiday. Thank you Pepo for taking me on this trek. Highly recommended.

He cares about your well- being, making sure you are hydrated during the hike and your safety.
