If also you believe that the best way to explore is by walking then we are on the same page. Every place has a story to tell and the only way to feel it is too get into this story step by step.

This is what our SightWalk is about!

With this route of Valletta you will get a different understanding of the capital of Malta, away from the mainstream tourist itineraries.

  • Both side views of Valletta Gran Harbor together with some famous movie and TV shows landmarks.
  • An adventurous path along Valletta’ city walls, the scene for the great dramatic Ottoman siege of the 17th century.
  • Insights of Madraggio, a place described by Jules Verne in his book “the Extraordinary Voyages” as a true Court of Miracles.
  • Funny, creepy and weird stories about the surroundings of the infamous and mysterious Straight Street.
  • The inspiring sky line of the Three Cities. A picturesque architecture able to captivate the interest of M.C. Esher.

This is an easy walk! You do not need technical equipment or special training to participate, and it is a great activity that also for groups and families with kids.

We will meet just outside Valletta’s main gate, ready to start an enjoyable, panoramic and educational journey.

During the excursion, you will get a lot of information about Malta and Mediterranean history and culture. There will be time for talking and getting photos (so don’t forget your cameras).

This is not a classical “highlights” guided tour of Valletta.
This is a discovery walk to explore the less touristic corners and views of the St John Knight city.

We love to connect people to places while walking away from the mainstream routes

Safety is always our first priority and all our guides are trained in EFR and First Aid.

    Очень красивые места, маршрут уникальный! Самостоятельно невозможно было найти и так пробежать. К хорошей пробежки, красивым видам был и хороший рассказ, о местах, событиях, истории Мальты.
    Это не первый мой эксперимент с пробежкой - и один из самых интересных.
    Если вы только начинаете бегать или бегаете давно и много, все равно это интересный опыт.
    Рекомендую выбирать Pepo!
    Very beautiful places, the route is unique! It was impossible to find and run by yourself. For a good run, beautiful views, there was a good story about places, events, and the history of Malta.
    This is not my first run experiment - and one of the most interesting.
    If you are just starting to run or running for a long time and a lot, it’s still an interesting experience.

    Amazing experience and host! Pepo is very knowledgeable about Malta and guided me through some places I could never find by myself. During the run we could talk a lot about the historical facts and the actual facts of Malta, he made few curious and informative stops in some strategic and very beautiful parts of the circuit. Pepo also gave me very interesting tips about what do and what do not do in Malta. As a bonus I got a ride home with him, listening to a fantastic Rock and Roll soundtrack!!!
    I strongly recommend this experience for all runners that are visiting Malta.

    Fantastic Day Out My partner and I decided to do the full day snorkelling safari through Divers Code and we were not disappointed. We were picked up promptly from Valletta and taken to their shop where we met our guide, Pepo, and the 2 others who were in our group. We were given a detailed briefing on certain safety aspects, as well as how to snorkel properly. We then went out in their car to the first snorkelling location, stopping off on the way to look at a historical site. Pepo told us a lot about what we were seeing as we drove past and gave us the opportunity to stop if we wanted to take any photos. It was then time to start our first snorkel. I would highly recommend snorkelling with a guide; firstly, Pepo was attached to a buoy which indicated that there were snorkelers operating within the vicinity. Anyone that has been on a speed boat before will know how hard it is to see swimmers in open water. It is not uncommon to have people who have just rented the boat for a day out in the water and are not experienced (happens everywhere, not just Malta). Having this extra bit of security really helped make the both the sessions that much more relaxing and enjoyable. Secondly, Pepo pointed out different sea life and told us what they were which was nice. Lastly, on our second snorkel we swam to this amazing cave. Unfortunately there were a few jellyfish. This did not put a damper on the swim because Pepo put himself in between us and the jelly fish and made sure we were safe at all times.

    I booked the run the day before and Pepo got in touch with me to confirm despite there was nothing to discuss since all the information was already there.
    He offered other tips for Malta as well, but unfortunately this was already my last day.
    I regret not having booked Pepo before since he would have given me good advice in particular for running on that island (not to easy, since it i hilly, hot and there is quite some traffic^^). We had a very good time and ran through the city together. You can decide how much you want to run and how much you want to talk. Pepo is a ultra runner with heart and soul and it was a pleasure to chat with him.
    It is definitely worth it getting up that early since after 8-9am it is already quite hot (even in September) and crowded. I definitely recommend booking that experience!

    I had a great run with Pepo. I was the only person who had signed up (perhaps because it was the low season for tourism), so I had plenty of opportunity to ask questions. I had just arrived in Valletta the evening before and I needed to get a run in, so I went on Pepo’s tour to get both done at once. Pepo’s a great guide—he knows a lot about Valletta’s and Malta’s history and he also gives great restaurant recommendations! He’s a warm and outgoing host—we had a fun time. The route takes you out along the perimeter of Valletta—some spots I definitely wouldn’t have figured out myself and with some great views. I recommend signing up!

    Running around Valletta with Pepo was a great experience! I was able to see the city in an entirely different way that I wouldn't have on my own or on a typical tour. And he has a wealth of knowledge about Malta's history, shared info about the culture, and made some excellent recommendations for the rest of our stay.
    I was slighly apprehensive about going on this run alone in a strange place with an unknown person, but any concerns were immediately gone - I always felt safe and highly recommend to all visitors to Valletta!

    Wow! Something special to run around the old city of Valletta with Pepo as an experienced and enthusiastic guide. If you like running, learning a bit about the history of Valletta and experience the most spectacular views all mixed together with some interesting stories go for this one. Pepo tailors the pace according to your level. The run itself is nice and challenging but not too tough. After 10k in and around the city you will guaranteed feel very satisfied.

I messaged pepo to ask if he could do a day that wasn’t on his availability and he messaged me back straight away saying he has changed the dates on the calendar and that he would be able to do it.
